Cello Summer Soirée 2023
You are very welcome to attend our Cello Summer Soirée, an annual fund raising concert for Dunmurry Presbyterian Church. This will be a wonderful concert showcasing the musical talent of Scott Heron’s cello students in the first half, featuring the music of Bach, Beethoven, & Carlos Gardel. They will be accompanied by the most excellent Audrey Gillian.
During the second half there will be chamber music by Brahms played by Scott Heron, Hayley Howe, and other professional friends. The grand finale will be the Cello Summer Soirée ensemble playing Vivaldi’s Double Violin & Cello Concerto in A Major, Rv546, featuring the soloists Heidi and Mia White. The atmosphere is always warm and friendly, with refreshments at the interval. We will be joined by professional actor, Adrian Cooke, who will be the Master of Ceremonies, presenting the concert in his own inimitable style!
Tickets available in church or on Eventbrite. Fundraiser - all proceeds go towards church funds, £10 for an adult (£3 for child ie under 18, and under 5s go free -please just reserve adult seats on eventbrite and advise us of number of children attending so we can reserve seats. Children's seats can be paid for at the door.)
